Basil
I made pesto today with my basil, walnuts and olive oil. I will add Parmesan just before I use it. I froze the pesto in ice cube trays so I can just take out what I need at a time. My house smells great right now!

More Pepper Jam
I am amazed at the amount of peppers my little plants keep producing. I just had to make some more Pepper Jam. This batch is hotter than the last!

Canning Jars
Mr. Hench gave me some canning jars! They will come in handy when I make the applesauce this week.
Herbs and Coffee
I love the way the coffee is steaming and the sun rays are bursting around the mug. It is pretty chilly in the house this morning.
The herbs had to come in due to the frost warnings last night. My sage, rosemary, oregano, winter savory, and marjoram all look healthy for now, although I am sure they will not like the long, dark, cold Pennsylvania winters. We will see if they survive my "attention" this winter.

Ladybug
I have been very fortunate to have many ladybugs in my garden all season. I suppose this is one of the last ones until next year.
