Installing the Gutter and Downspout for the Rain Barrel

I was worried about the overflow of the water ending up in our basement, so we are putting the rain barrel by the shed. The shed has a very small roof, but I have been told it takes very little rain to fill the barrel. It is now nearer the gardens as well. Worker bee cut the gutter to the length needed, I drilled it onto the shed and forgot to intentionally give the gutter a 1/2 inch drop. Fortunately it turns out the gutter is sloping ever so slightly anyway, so it does get the water to the downspout. Now we are just waiting for some rain! Not expecting any until Friday.
