My mystery bush was identified by my mom after I gave her a description over the phone. Since we have so much more sun in the back yard since our White Pine tree's demise, this Variegated Weigela (Latin Name: Weigela florida) is bursting with blossoms. The leaves are variegated now as well, whereas without the sun they were solid green. Thanks, Mom!
