The clematis helps to hide our rather "Leaning Tower of Pisa" lamp post. Years ago, when worker bee helped me install the lamp post, a baby squirrel kept jumping on his shovel, on my back and on my head. At first it was startling, but soon became part of the post installing experience. The distraction of the squirrel though caused us to rush to complete the job and we did not plumb the pole. It makes me smile whenever I look at the tilted lamp post.
